Welcome to Join the Dots Together, where passionate individuals unite for climate justice!
We’re a network that spontaneously came together in Belfast in November 2023. We are dedicated to connecting people, communities and actions to create a sustainable future for all.
At Join the Dots Together, we believe in the power of collective action. Our diverse community includes activists, educators, policymakers and everyday citizens who share a common goal: to address the urgent challenges of climate change and promote environmental justice. Following COP 28 in Dubai, we wish to build on the platform of the joined witness of faith based organizations and ensure that the input of faith communities is maximized. Through collaboration, education, and advocacy with people and groups of all faiths and none. we work towards positive change at local, national, and global levels. From organizing grassroots initiatives to engaging in policy discussions, our network empowers individuals to make a difference in their communities and beyond.
Following our first event in the Ulster University with Dr. Lorna Gold, CEO of FaithInvest and Chair of the Laudato Sì Movement , we set up a website to inform, educate and promote collaboration. Our current priority is to raise awareness of “Season of CreationThe Season of Creation is an annual Christian observance that takes place from September 1st to October 4th. It is a time when Christians around the world come together to pray, reflect, and take action on caring for the environment and addressing ecological concerns. The observance begins on the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation (September 1st) and concludes on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4), the patron saint of ecology in the Catholic tradition. The Season encourages prayer, education, and advocacy for environmental stewardship.
