Join the Dots Together is delighted to invite you to the launch of the report from our Earth Day Conference, An Economy of Enough in a Time of Crisis and Opportunity.
The conference, held in Belfast on Earth Day 2026, brought together people from faith communities, universities, environmental organisations and community initiatives to explore what a fairer and more sustainable economy could look like.
The report captures the rich conversations and ideas that emerged during the day, exploring how we can move towards an economy based on sufficiency, solidarity and sustainability, rather than endless consumption and growth.
We are particularly pleased to welcome Kristian Noll of the London School of Economics, who will launch the report and help us explore how faith communities can play a practical role in turning this vision into action.
The launch takes place during the Season of Creation
The Season of Creation is an annual Christian observance that takes place from September 1st to October 4th. It is a time when Christians around the world come together to pray, reflect, and take action on caring for the environment and addressing ecological concerns. The observance begins on the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation (September 1st) and concludes on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4), the patron saint of ecology in the Catholic tradition. The Season encourages prayer, education, and advocacy for environmental stewardship.
