♻️🌎 Moycraig is MOO-ving to ZERO 🌎♻️
This year, we are building on from the strong sustainability pledge we had created last year.
We are delighted to announce our new pledge which is “Moycraig MOO-ving to ZERO” ✅🌿
This isn’t just a motto – it’s OUR mission. We are turning words into actions that will make a huge difference for our local community and our planet. 🌍
Our pledge for 2025/26 states how we as a club will;
♻️ Minimise Waste
♻️ Optimise Resources
♻️ Own Our Impact
How are we going to do it? 🤔
🥔 Support Local
Buying produce that’s grown here, made here or the many local farm shops we have nearby – we will be supporting local
🚗 Avoid unnecessary car journeys
We will be encouraging members to walk, cycle, car sharing and planning journeys responsibly to reduce fuel waste
🔌 Giving old items a second life
We will support repairing, repurposing, and donating items to extend their lifespan and reduce landfill waste
♻️ Follow correct recycling guidelines
We will encourage all members to recycle items at home and in the club hall properly to minimise waste that goes to landfill.
🌾 Lead the land
We will protect soil health, conserving water , nurturing biodiversity and respect the ecosystem that sustain our livelihoods
💚 Honour our community
We will work together with our local community and schools to create a better space, better place for everyone to come together ensuring that we have healthy farms making for a cleaner environment
✅ Choose reusable options
We are increasing the use of reusable bottles, cups, bags and containers across all club activities
💚 These are some of the actions we have set in stone to create a better space, better place environment for all and reflects how we as a club is dedicated on making change!
✨ Do give us a follow as we will be sharing our journey throughout our social media platforms showing you how we will be contributing to making the planet more eco friendly. 🍃🌳
